This is a 1967 Correct Craft Barracuda that was owned by my family from 1970 to 1980. The pictures were taken in June of 1980 when we traded it in for a 1980 Century Resorter at Channel Marine, Wares Beach, NH.

It was a beautiful boat and was in excellent condition. It had a gas pedal and the shifter was on the dash board. The hull was dark red, but the deck had been repainted a bright red. The horn had been disconnected from the steering wheel and a small push button switch had been installed in the dash next to the steering column. The bilge pump switch was mounted on the engine.

The boat was sold soon after we traded it. I am interested if this boat is still around.

Update: I listed this boat in the Diaries in January of 2004. About 2 years later the son of the guy that bought the boat from Channel Marine in 1980 emailed me after seeing it on CCF. He told me the boat had been kept for a few years on a small lake in NH before his father sold it. He didn’t know where it ended up after that. I’d really like to find this boat. It would be really cool if CCF helped me find it after all these years. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
